Loch Broom Church, Pictou County,Nova Scotia, Canada
The Loch Broom Log Church is a Nova Scotia Historic Site and it is a replica of the first church built in Pictou County.
It is now operated by the West River Presbyterian Church.

A group has formed called "The Friends of the Loch Broom Church" and they are doing extensive restoration on this church. Donations to the church may be made out to "The Loch Broom Church Fund" and sent to us to be forwarded to the Treasurer.

The present church is used on a regular basis for special
services by various Scottish Clans and for other events.

"The Log Church" as it is fondly called by the Scots of the province was named by Scots who came from   the parish of   Loch Broom, in Invernesshire, Scotland.

The immediate area farm was settled by Alexander Cameron in or about 1773.

The origional church held its first service in 1787. The later minister being Dr. James MacGregor who came from Scotland in 1786.
